News - UN and White Ribbon

Our School Council @kingsoaksemhschool started a campaign over 3 years ago supporting both the UN Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls project @unitednations and White Ribbon @whiteribbonuk .

They have worked tirelessly to promote this work and have been liaising with @royal_greenwich to promote it further. Today, they met with the RBG EDI Group to present their work and the task they have set themselves - 100 schools/organisations in 16 days to sign up!

We think they are phenomenal and it is an honour to see how brilliant they are. Huge thanks to the School Council for driving this, Mrs Smith, Mr Shearing, Mr Griffiths for supporting & Mrs Kroll and Mrs Cuff for continuing to see the value of this work.
